If an Intel processor is available much cheaper in India it may make sense to add it to the build for Indian but may not make sense for the US buyers.
Another big point is to look at the service/distribution network of the component you are buying. Why is this important because if something goes wrong 6 month after purchase you would not be carrying your graphics card 500 km to get it replaced? Also, they will not do it instantaneously.
PC Configuration Basics for beginners
There are many combinations which you can buy when it comes to PC components. But the best configuration is that which optimizes a PC performance as a whole and give the best possible experience.
For eg. I would not suggest someone to buy an RTX 3080 with an Intel Core i3 processor or 4 GB ram with a Core i7 processor since if we do that we will have a bottleneck component, which will reduce the performance of entire Rig.
So it is essential to have all components maximize performance in relation to each other. So we club a core i7 with an RTX 3080 and GTX 1650 with a core i3 for best results and best utilization of our budget.

We will first start with the Intel build and then will also look at the latest AMD Ryzen Build.

PC Configuration No.1 :
Let’s first go thorough all the parts and then we will get into the overall build and budget and will also look into different configurations that you can purchase.

Note* – Some of the boards may have support for only 2666 MHz of Ram speed. This will still work with those motherboards as well but at 2666 MHz.
We can also buy a 2666 MHz Ram for this build but the price difference is very low so instead I will suggest to buy this so in future if you upgrade the motherboard can use it.

4) HDD – Seagate BarraCuda 1 TB Internal Hard Drive HDD – 3.5 Inch SATA 6 Gb/s 7200 RPM 64 MB Cache for Computer Desktop PC (ST1000DM010)
Price – ₹ 3,249
1 TB hard disk is the minimum storage you should be buying along with this rig. The Seagate Hard Drive is good compared to other manufacturers for replacement and warranty fulfillment.
Also, you can purcashe the Weston Digital hard drive. I have used both the drives for years and they work fine and there is little to no difference in performance.
The Seagate BarraCuda has a spindle speed of 7200 RPM which is better than most 5400 RPM drives, it offers Cache Memory of 64 MB and high-speed data transfer SATA up to 6 GB/S. I have been using it for the last two years and there have been no issues.
5) SSD – Samsung 860 EVO 250GB SATA III Internal Solid State Drive (MZ-76E250BW)
Price – ₹ 4,299
For Installing the Windows 10 Os and some other programs it is essential to have an SSD. It is entirely your choice to add an SSD or work with an HDD if you have budget constraint.
I will suggest to a 250 GB SSD to the system for fast boot time and loading of Apps and browser. You can even add the SSD at a later stage.
The Samsung 860 EVO is the best-selling SATA SSD. The machine has designed for PCs and laptops the latest V-NAND and a robust algorithm-based controller.

6 ) Power Supply – Ant Esports VS500L (FP550B)

To run this PC built which is recommended for this Rig you will need a 500 watt PSU minimum so go ahead with an Ant Esports so you have no trouble running it, don’t buy a low-quality PSU which will not let your card and processor run on full load and may damage the components also. PSU minimum of 500 Watt is considered good.
This Power supply is available for a very attractive price and is capable of running the system with ease.
Ant Esports 500 watts is a decent power supply for this price, would recommend it with this build, if you wish to spend less and get a better PSU.
7) Processor – Intel® Core™ i3-10100 Processor (BX8070110100)
Price – ₹ 9,999
Since we are using the Intel processor for this build I will suggest we go with the 10th Gen Intel processor that offers bang for buck performance.
For this range, you can purchase the core i3 architecture based processor for Gaming.
The Intel Core i3 – 10100 Processor is clocked at 3.6 GHz (up to 4.30 GHz turbo boost) with 6 MB Cache, it is based on the Comet Lake architecture and is manufactured with a 14 nm manufacturing process. The processor has 4 cores and 8 threads and 65 W TDP.
It is loaded with Intel UHD graphics 630 with max resolution up to 4096 * 2160 pixels. We will not be using the internal graphics card but will add our own GPU.
8) MotherBoard – GIGABYTE B460M Gaming HD Motherboard (B089GYKZSD)

We are also not going to cheap out on the motherboard but will use a value for money offering from Gigabyte.
GIGABYTE B460M Offers all the essential features and a sufficient number of SATA, USB 2.0, and USB 3.0 ports and supports the graphics card well. If you are looking for over-clocking, go ahead with Gigabyte Motherboard.
The motherboard has dual-channel Non-ECC unbuffered DDR4 memory with 4 DIMMs. The audio capacitors and audio noise guard has LED Trace Path lightning.
The motherboard supports up to 32 GB of DDR4 Ram.

The second PC configuration has some changes and we will use a slightly more powerful Asus GTX 1650 Super for the build and also will add a better cabinet, power supply and motherboard. The overall build may cost sligthly more than our desired budget of Rs. 50000.

I am using this cabinet for last 1 year for my second PC and so far it has worked well.

The cable routing cutouts help to lessen clutter while the in-built dust filters preserve the segments.

Next we have two Gaming PC that are build using the AMD Ryzen processors. Due to the budget constrait I am not able to use the more powerful Ryzen 3600X or the 5600x in these builds. However, we have used them in the 60k to 70k Gaming PC builds.

Dell makes really high quality monitors and they last very long.

Concluding Thoughts – Gaming PC 50K
Most builds you will find online are either outdated or exclude the monitor when building a PC. But in my experience when we think of building the PC we need to also include the monitor to the budget.
I some months back created a Rig which had an online price of 83,000 and was able to source all parts online and assembled it myself.
Most local dealers don’t know much about PC builds they try to sell whatever they have and will say that this offers better performance than the other parts. Don’t buy that logic.
You can purchase all the parts online and ask some local dealer or computer service shop to fit it for you they usually charge around Rs. 150 to Rs. 250 for assembling the PC parts.
